Keith Creel
Keith Creel
Keith Creel became the first President and CEO of CPKC on April 14, 2023 with the combination of Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern.
Mr. Creel previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Pacific (CP), a position he assumed in January 2017, becoming the 17th person to lead CP since 1881.
Under Mr. Creel’s leadership, CP achieved industry-leading safety performance and delivered more efficient ways to connect customers to domestic and global markets, playing a prominent role in connecting communities across North America.
Mr. Creel was appointed CP President and Chief Operating Officer in February 2013 and joined the CP Board of Directors in May of 2015.
Prior to joining CP, Mr. Creel was Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer at Canadian National Railway (CN). He held various positions at CN including Executive Vice-President Operations, Senior Vice-President Eastern Region, Senior Vice-President Western Region, and Vice-President of the Prairie Division.
Mr. Creel began his railroad career at Burlington Northern Railway in 1992 as an intermodal ramp manager in Birmingham, Alabama. He also spent part of his career at Grand Trunk Western Railroad as a superintendent and general manager and at Illinois Central Railroad as a trainmaster and director of corridor operations, prior to its merger with CN in 1999. He currently serves on the board of the Association of American Railroads.
Mr. Creel holds a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Jacksonville State University and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Mr. Creel has a military background as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army, during which time he served in the Persian Gulf War in Saudi Arabia. Recognized for his leadership at CP, he was named by Progressive Railroading as Railroad Innovator for 2014 and by Railway Age as Railroader of the Year in 2021 and co-Railroader of the Year in 2022. The Globe and Mail newspaper’s Report on Business Magazine named Mr. Creel its 2021 CEO of the Year and 2021 Strategist of the Year.
He is honored to be married to his wife of over 30 years, Ginger, and proud father of Tanner and Caitlin.

John Brooks
John Brooks
As Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of CPKC, John Brooks is responsible for CPKC’s business units and leads a group of highly capable sales and marketing professionals across North America.
Mr. Brooks is also responsible for strengthening partnerships with existing customers, generating new opportunities for growth, enhancing the value of the company’s service offerings and developing strategies to optimize CPKC’s book of business.
With more than 25 years in the railroading business, Mr. Brooks brings a breadth of experience to the CMO role that is pivotal to CPKC’s growth and success.
Previously, Mr. Brooks served as Executive Vice-President and Chief Marketing Officer at Canadian Pacific (CP). Throughout Mr. Brooks’ sales and marketing career, he has held senior responsibilities in all lines of business, including coal, chemicals, merchandise products, grain and intermodal. He began his railroading career with Union Pacific and later helped start I&M Rail Link, LLC, which was purchased by the Dakota, Minnesota and Eastern Railroad (DM&E) in 2002. Mr. Brooks was Vice-President of Marketing at the DM&E prior to it being acquired by CP in 2007.

Mark Redd
Mark Redd
Mark Redd is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of CPKC bringing considerable leadership experience in rail operations and safety excellence to the role.
Mr. Redd oversees the 24/7 operations of CPKC’s North American network including those teams responsible for network transportation, operations, mechanical, engineering, training and safety.
Mr. Redd began his railroading career at Midsouth Rail in Jackson, Mississippi, as a brakeman and conductor, before moving to Kansas City Southern (KCS) as an engineer. He spent more than 20 years at KCS, holding a variety of leadership positions in network and field operations, including Vice-President Transportation where he oversaw key operating functions in the U.S. and Mexico. Previously, Mr. Redd served as Executive Vice-President Operations at Canadian Pacific, having first joined the company in 2013 going on to hold a series of operational leadership roles.
Mr. Redd holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix and an Executive MBA from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.

Nadeem Velani
Nadeem Velani
Nadeem Velani is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CPKC.
In his role, Mr. Velani serves as a key member of the CPKC executive leadership team responsible for helping plan the long-term strategic direction of the company with duties including financial planning, investor relations, reporting and accounting systems, as well as treasury and tax.
Previously, Mr. Velani served as Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at Canadian Pacific (CP) having earlier served as Vice-President Investor Relations. Prior to CP, Mr. Velani spent 15 years at Canadian National where he worked in a variety of positions in Strategic and Financial Planning, Investor Relations, Sales and Marketing and the Office of the President and CEO.
Mr. Velani holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Western University and an MBA in Finance/International Business from McGill. In 2022, Mr. Velani completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and received his railroad conductor certification in Canada.
Mr. Velani was recognized by Institutional Investor as a member of the inaugural 2020 All-Canada Executive Team. He was ranked as the top CFO in the Capital Goods/Industrials sector as voted on by buy-side analysts, money managers and sell-side researchers. He was also named Canada’s CFO Of The Year in 2020, and recognized as one of the inaugural top 50 2020 Best Executives by the Globe and Mail’s Report on Business.

John Orr

John Orr is Executive Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer of CPKC.
In the new strategic position of Chief Transformation Officer, Mr. Orr is responsible for network operations planning and design, procurement, labour relations and regulatory affairs.
Previously, Mr. Orr served as Executive Vice President Operations for Kansas City Southern, overseeing the Transportation, Engineering, Mechanical, Network Operations, Health-Safety-Environmental and Labor Relations teams from 2021-2023. A fourth-generation railroader, Mr. Orr began his railroad career at Canadian National Railway (CN) in 1985 building his career and holding various leadership positions including Senior Vice President and Chief Transportation Officer.
Mr. Orr holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from University of Waterloo and has most recently completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University. He has also completed additional business coursework and professional development in leadership from University of Waterloo, University of Guelph, University of Western Ontario and Niagara Leadership Institute. Mr. Orr is a certified rail car inspector and a certified incident commander in Canada.

James Clements

Executive Vice-President Strategic Planning & Technology
As Executive Vice President Strategic Planning & Technology at CPKC, James Clements is responsible for strategically driving results through the application of technology, improving data integration, and delivering continuous process improvements.
In his role, Mr. Clements drives efficiencies across the company to improve overall service and is responsible for overseeing the operation of CPKC’s Network Service Centre, the company’s facilities and real estate portfolios.
Mr. Clements had more than 20 years of experience at Canadian Pacific (CP), including extensive understanding of CP’s customers, processes and systems and leadership of CP-KCS integration planning. Throughout his career, he has held a wide range of leadership roles, including within car management, finance, logistics, grain marketing and sales in Canada and the U.S., as well as marketing and sales responsibilities for various other lines of business.
He holds an MBA in International Business and Finance from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from McMaster University.

Jonathan Wahba
Jonathan Wahba
Jonathan Wahba is responsible for the sales and marketing functions supporting intermodal, automotive as well as bulk. Prior to his current role, Mr. Wahba served as CP’s Vice-President of Commercial Integration from 2021 through 2023, where he was responsible for the development and execution of commercial strategy. Mr. Wahba joined the company in 2017 as Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Intermodal and Automotive.
Mr. Wahba’s transportation and logistics experience includes United Parcel Service as an account manager as well as Director, Business Development with Canadian National from 2005 to 2010 before joining truckload transportation provider Schneider National as Vice President and Country Manager for Canada. Most recently, Jonathan served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Kriska Transportation Group, based in Toronto.
Mr. Wahba holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors degree from Queen’s University and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School. Mr. Wahba is conductor and rail car inspector qualified in Canada.

Coby Bullard
Coby Bullard
Coby Bullard serves as Senior Vice-President at CPKC responsible for Merchandise, Energy, Chemicals and Plastics as well as Transloads. Mr. Bullard joined CP in 2017 to lead Sales and Marketing for Merchandise and ECP. In 2023, he added leadership of the Transload business unit.
Mr. Bullard came to CP from C.R. England, where he was President of the Intermodal division as well as President of Crest Logistics, a wholly owned subsidiary. He brings almost a decade of railroad experience from BNSF, where he held key commercial roles in merchandise, domestic intermodal and international intermodal. Experienced in business development, strategic negotiations, transload development and operations management, Mr. Bullard builds stronger, more sustainable customer relationships and product offerings at CPKC.
Mr. Bullard is headquartered in Kansas City, MO. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s of Business Administration from Texas Christian University. He serves on the board of Transcare (2018), National Freight Transportation Association (NFTA 2022) and TFCM Fuel Terminals (2023).

Justin Meyer
Justin Meyer
Justin Meyer is an experienced railroad professional with a background in engineering and mechanical. In his 25-year career at the railroad, Mr. Meyer has held several leadership roles, including Vice-President Engineering in 2015 and Senior Vice-President Mechanical and Engineering in 2022.
In his role, Mr. Meyer is responsible for CPKC’s track infrastructure, rolling stock, locomotives and operations technology, including the hydrogen locomotive project. With a focus on safety and efficiency, he oversees the planning and execution of day-to-day maintenance as well as delivery of capital programs across CPKC’s 20,000-mile network.
Mr. Meyer is headquartered in Kansas City, MO. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State University and has a Professional Engineer designation. Mr. Meyer is a qualified track inspector in the United States and Canada.

Mike Foran
Mike Foran
Mike Foran is Senior Vice-President Network and Capacity Management at CPKC responsible for guiding the use of company assets to align with corporate objectives to drive strategic, sustainable growth.
His extensive experience helps him recognize and understand market trends, to make tactical business decisions for CPKC and its stakeholders.
Previously, Mr. Foran served as Vice-President, Market Strategy and Asset Management at Canadian Pacific (CP). During his more than 21 years at CP, Mr. Foran worked in operations, business development, marketing and general management.
Mr. Foran holds an executive MBA from the Ivey School of Business at Western University and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary.

Maeghan Albiston

Maeghan Albiston is Vice-President and Chief Human Resources Officer of CPKC, responsible for leadership of the company’s Human Resources function across North America, including the areas of talent management, recruitment, total rewards, occupational health and leadership development.
In her role, Ms. Albiston also oversees the management of the company’s pension plans, which includes CP’s defined benefit pension plan, one of the oldest and largest corporate pension plans in Canada.
During her nearly 20-year career at the railroad, Maeghan has held a number of leadership roles, most recently as Vice President Capital Markets where she acted as the primary point of contact for the financial community with oversight for the investor relations, treasury and pension functions.
Maeghan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta.

Ian Gray
Ian Gray
Ian Gray assumed the role of Vice-President Financial Planning and Accounting in 2018. He oversees financial, capital and multi-year planning, costing and profitability analysis, and is responsible for CPKC’s financial statements and accounting systems.
Joining CP in 2016, Mr. Gray started as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, moving to Assistant Vice-President Financial Planning and Analysis that same year.
Mr. Gray holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Calgary, a Masters in Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Oxford. Mr. Gray also holds the Chartered Professional Accountant designation in Canada and he is a qualified mechanical car inspector in Canada.

Pam Arpin
Pam Arpin
In this role, Pam Arpin is responsible for technical integration activities and redefining CPKC’s digital strategy and information services (IS) roadmap, enabling CPKC’s strategic business goals with the right investments in technology. Ms. Arpin leads a diverse team focused on discovering and implementing new technologies that return competitive advantage. By fostering a culture of innovation, her role positions CPKC for sustainable growth through strategically connecting people, processes, systems, data and assets.
In October 2020, Ms. Arpin became the company’s first Vice-President Innovation and Business Transformation. As CPKC’s Vice-President and CIO, she retains the same portfolio, including oversight of CPKC’s Network Service Centre. Ms. Arpin has 25 years of experience working in commercial, operations, finance, customer service and technology roles. Her leadership and industry influence have received North American recognition: Notably, she was named the 2019 Railway Woman of the Year by the League of Railway Women and was named one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 by the Women’s Executive Network that same year. Most recently, Ms. Arpin was an honoree for the Top 10 Influential Leaders in 2023 for North American Railroads.
Ms. Arpin holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan. She chaired the Association of American Railroad’s Customer Service Committee from 2019 to 2022 before joining the Board of Railinc, where she was nominated to the Finance & Audit Committee. Ms. Arpin joined CP’s Diversity and Leadership Steering Committee in 2020; providing overall governance, direction and input on the company’s diversity and inclusion strategy and leadership development programs. She also co-chairs CPKC’s Women’s Leadership Network (WLN); WLN’s focus is on growing our representation of women in senior leadership roles at CPKC.

David Eaton
David Eaton
In his role, David Eaton supports the development of CPKC’s transnational services. With nearly 20 years at the railroad, Mr. Eaton held several leadership roles, including Vice-President Business Development and Customer Service, as well as Vice-President of Operations, overseeing the transportation, operations support and network operations departments. Over the past few years, Mr. Eaton was accountable for customer service, feasibility on-boarding, business intelligence, marketing and nearshoring promotion in the U.S. and Mexico
Mr. Eaton joined Kansas City Southern de México in 2005 as Vice-President Corporate Affairs and Right of Way Protection. He moved to the Vice-President of Sales and Marketing position in 2009. He was responsible for the carload business unit, including the Industrial and Consumer, as well as the Chemical and Petroleum teams in both the U.S. and Mexico.
Mr. Eaton is headquartered in Monterrey, Mexico. He holds a law degree from the University of Arizona and a Master’s degree in Commercial Law from the Technological Institute of Monterrey (ITESM). He currently serves as President of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) Monterrey Division, is a 28+ year member of Rotary and is past president of the National Freight Transportation Association (NFTA).

Previously Managing Director Investor Relations and Treasurer, Chris de Bruyn has been a primary point of contact between CP and the investment community since 2018. He leads the Treasury department and is responsible for corporate financing, hedging, shareholder returns and day to day Treasury operations.
Joining CP in 2014 as Manager of the Treasury department, Mr. de Bruyn has held progressively more senior roles in CP’s Finance department. He previously worked at Enbridge and ARC Resources in a variety of Treasury roles.
Mr. de Bruyn holds a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the State University of New York at Fredonia as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance from the University of Calgary Haskayne School of Business.
